Welcome 'Captain'

We've had dogs in our home for as long as I can remember, yes even the darkest depths of my childhood days, they were there, I'm pleased to say. We have been without a dog for nearly 18 months now and had been chatting with the boys about looking for a puppy once we have moved house....I'll come to that a bit later!!
Then home comes Chris with a tiny little bundle under his arm, no not his lunch box, but a jug.. a what I here you cry..yes a jug. It's a cross between a Pug and a Jack Russell. A sweet little thing he is to and Chris has named him after Capt Pugwash. Captain.
He has settled in really well and at the time of maiking this blog he is 11 weeks old, has had his jabs and will soon be let loose on the World. Although we have taken him down to the waterline on the beach last week which he seemed to really like. He's very playfull and is a bit nippy but we'll soon sort that out. House training is a bit of a chore but again time will sort that...I hope! He is driving Sheila a bit mad as she has to look after Capt as well as her sisters dog, a bit mre help wouldn't go amiss there I think.

I mentioned a move. Well yes, hopefully sometime during August if all goes to plan we will be moving to Kilgetty, about 3 miles from where we are now. We've found a lovely bungalow that suits our arrangements far better than where we are now, will give the boys more space and I will be able to use the conservatory as a studio for baby/toddler work.We have a buyer for ours and things are moving along nicely, so lets keep our fingers crossed.
The last few weeks have been spent editing the last weddings, ordering proof books and discs as well as taking on new work.

Spent a lovely evening at Bluestone taking photographs of Margaret and her family by the lake. She had brought together several members of her family to celebrate their wedding anniversray.
A few days later I was taking some pictures of a local restaurant for the owners web site when I was asked to leave..why? Because he hadn't told anyone that I was coming and the customers nor staff were very happy.
Really pleased to have had 2 more wedding bookings confirm in the last 2 weeks with another enquiry today.
On Wednesday I'm taking some shots of a young lady who has been asked to submit some photos to a London based photographer who is intersted in her as a model...checked him out seems legit, can't be to careful these days.
So still busy and when we move I've got 5 weddings soon after and then need to start planning for Xmas shoots!!!
While publishing this blog news has come through announcing the birth of a baby boy for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, many congratulations to them. A special date for my blog, never to be forgotten on this historic day
